主讲人介绍：
杨立波，南开大学教授，博士生导师。2004年毕业于南开大学组合数学中心，获理学博士学位。杨立波教授主要从事组合数学方面的研究，解决了包括美国科学院院士Richard Stanley教授提出的zrank猜想在内的多个公开问题。杨立波教授的成果发表在《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Intern. Math. Res. Notices》、《J. Combinatorial Theory Series, A》、《Adv. Appl. Math.》、《SIAM Discrete Math.》等重要数学期刊。
报告主要观点：
Young tableaux and their variations play a very important role in the theory of symmetric functions. I will discuss some combinatorics of Young tableaux, inverted tableaux, flagged tableaux and k-tableaux, as well as its applications to the study of Newton polytopes of Schur polynomials and k-Schur polynomials.
