主讲人介绍：
郭龙，南开大学组合数学中心教授，博士生导师。研究方向是代数组合学，主要关注组合学与表示论、代数几何、离散几何相交叉的课题。与合作者解决了ICM报告人Andras Nemethi、Igor Pak、Gunter Ziegler以及数学顶刊《J. AMS》副主编Thomas Lam、Victor Reiner等人提出的多个猜想和公开问题，相关结果发表在《Math. Z.》、《Science China Math.》、《J. Combin. Theory Ser. A》、《Discrete & Comput. Geom.》等期刊，受到包括Fields奖获得者、ICM报告人的关注和引用。先后主持多项国家自然科学基金项目，入选南开大学“青年学科带头人培养计划”。
报告主要观点：
Combinatorial Schubert Calculus is a typical topic in Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry, where geometric phenomena can be described with combinatorial data, and combinatorial methods are essential for further progress. In this talk, we shall give an overview of basic information about Combinatorial Schubert Calculus as well as some of our work in this area.
